Rohit Shetty's plan to unite North and South through Thalapathy Vijay

Ranveer Singh's 'Cirkus' is gearing up for a grand release on the Christmas weekend on December 23. The makers have unveiled the trailer of the Hindi film yesterday. While interacting with the media during the event, director Rohit Shetty was asked if he has plans of making a Pan-India blockbuster bringing Hindi and Tamil actors together.

“I would like to work with everyone. From Rajini sir to Surya sir to Ajith to Vijay to Karthi,” Rohit said. He was then quizzed if he can bring Ranveer and a South actor together. Asked for a suggestion, a journalist said, “It would be great if we have Vijay and Ranveer.”

The proposal drew loud hoots from the team with Ranveer himself looking awed and humbled by the idea. He even broke into a step of Vijay's viral Arabic Kuthu song from Beast. “Theek hai, we'll try,” Rohit replied

Cirkus is touted to be a lively entertainer. The film is based on William Shakespeare's play The Comedy of Errors. The film's cast includes Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, and Varun Sharma among others.

On the other hand, Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up for the release of Varisu directed by Vamshi Padipalley. The film also has Rashmika Mandanna, Veteran actors like Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Jayasudha and many more.
