Director Rohit Shetty has given several iconic films in his career. Best known for his cop films like the 'Singham' franchise and 'Simmba', Rohit has plans to establish a universe of interconnected movies with his upcoming film 'Sooryavanshi'. Reports suggested that Rohit is planning a cop flick with Sidharth Malhotra as well but it turned out that the project was actually a web show and Sidharth hasn't bagged the role yet.

Rohit will act as the producer and creator of an 8 episode web show for Amazon Prime Video and he has started looking for the lead actor for the project. He is in talks with Vicky Kaushal, Sidharth Malhotra and Tiger Shroff for the part. A source told a news outlet, "They are Rohit’s top choices for the role as the material demands an actor who is adept at action. If all goes well, the actioner will roll by December. Though it marks Rohit’s foray into the OTT world, he is not in a rush to announce it and will probably do so only after the release date of Sooryavanshi is finalised.”

However, the project hasn't been announced officially yet and it is not clear whether it'll be a part of Rohit Shetty's grand scale cop universe.
