Actress Roja is one of the few actresses who have made a successful transition from tinsel town to politics. The two time Nagari MLA was expected to be handed over a minister post in the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy cabinet but it did not happen.

The AP Chief Minister instead, however, has made Roja the chairperson of the Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC). Now the salary reportedly fixed for Roja has been revealed and it is said that she takes home rupees two lakhs plus perks for house rent, car, mobile bill etc amounts to another 1.82 lakhs and in total 3.82 lakhs per month. The 'Uzhaippaali' heroine already proved her efficiency as an MLA and is also turning out to be a good administrator in her new capacity as well.
