'Ekta', a romantic thriller, is directed by G Suman Reddy. It's a Telugu-Hindi bilingual produced by Bikshamaiah Sangam and Suman Reddy of BS Production House and Viraat Cinemas.

The talkie part is done with, shot mostly in Alleppey, Hyderabad and Mumbai. A song will be shot in Goa this month-end. "The movie's first copy will be ready by April, while the film will be released in May or June," the makers say.

Navneet Kaur Dhillon, who has won the Miss India title in 2013, is the heroine. Robin Sohi, Nasirr Khan, Salil Ankola and 'Kalakeya' Prabhakar' are a part of the cast. Music-directed by Daboo Mallik, it has cinematography from Thamashyam. Editing is by Karthik Srinivas. Armaan Mallik has rendered the songs.
