Roshan to try for Surya

The 'elimination' of Prithvirj from the big movie 'Mumbai police' was a news in the Mollywood circuit. It was then heard that director Roshan has already struck a deal with megastar Mammootty for doing the same role in the movie. Though no confirmation came from the director, the news about Mammootty donning another police role spread like fire.
But the recent grape vine is that Roshan is trying to get none other than Tamil actor Surya for the role. The actor who has got a sizable fan following in the state has earlier disclosed his intentions about doing a Malayalam films, if the right script comes his way. He was also seen as a special guest in the recent State Award ceremony held at Kozhikkod. And if the deal is on, Surya will have a big launch pad with 'Mumbai police, which in that case will become a bilingual.
