Rowdy Baby becomes highest viewed song in Tamil cinema

Rowdy Baby from Maari 2 featuring Dhanush and Sai Pallavi officially set the record of becoming the highest viewed Tamil song on YouTube, beating the record previously set by Dhanush-Anirudh’s ‘Why This Kolaveri Di’ seven years ago.

The song now claims the first spot with 176 million views, while the viral song from 3 holds the second spot with 175 million views. The song achieved the feat in 36 days, also making it the fastest song to reach the number.

Composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Rowdy Baby has been sung by Dhanush and Dhee. Sai Pallavi’s dance in the song and the choreography by Prabhu Deva were critically acclaimed.
