'RRR' actor Samuthirakani for Teja-Abhiram Daggubati movie

It's well-known that Abhiram Daggubati (Rana's younger brother and Suresh Babu's son) will be making an acting debut in Teja's yet-to-be-shot movie. Launched recently, the untitled flick will go on the floors next month.

The news is that Samuthirakani has been approached for a performance-oriented role. Now, the actor is the most popular Kollywood character artiste in Telugu cinema. After 'Krack' this year and 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' last year, the audience have come to identify him with interesting roles. Director Teja is kicked about giving Samuthirakani a spectacular role. And producer P Kiran of Anandi Art Creations is said to have given his nod to rope him in.

Samuthirakani is doing at least two big-ticket movies currently. Rajamouli's 'RRR' is the first of them. And Pawan Kalyan-Rana Daggubati's untitled movie is the other one. He is also a lead man in 'Aakasavani', which will release in August or September.

As for the Teja-Abhiram movie, its female lead is yet to be finalized. Rumours are that Krithi Shetty has been approached.
