'RRR' actress Alia Bhatt's awaited movie to clash with 'Radhe Shyam'

On Wednesday, the makers of Alia Bhatt's promising next announced the release date of their Hindi movie as July 30. Titled 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', the film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Telling the tale of a female underworld don, the Bollywood project has Ajay Devgn in a key role.
As things stand, 'GK' will lock horns with 'Radhe Shyam'. While the Bhansali-Alia Bhatt movie won't have a big market in most parts of south India, it is expected to give some competition to the Prabhas-Radha Krishna Kumar movie in other territories.
Unless 'Radhe Shyam' gets postponed for whatever reason, the clash seems to be inevitable. Since both films belong to two contrasting genres ('Radhe Shyam' is a period romantic-actioner), a large section of the audience may embrace both of them.
This is going to be one of the prominent clashes of the year in the non-south territories.
Alia Bhatt will be seen as Ram Charan's pair in Rajamouli's 'RRR', which will hit the screens on October 13.
