RRR and Maidaan set to clash on 13th October. Heres what Boney has to say.*

Yesterday, the makers of the upcoming pan Indian film 'RRR', announced its release date to be 13th of October 2021. This will cause the film to clash with Boney Kapoor's production 'Maidaan'. This is a bit complex cause of the fact that both of these films star Ajay Devgan. Release date for 'Maidaan' was announced 6 months ago so Ajay advised Rajamauli to consult Boney before announcing the release date.

Producer Boney Kapoor wasn't happy with this development. He believes that such deeds in these trying times won't be fruitful for the film industry. He said, "Of course I am upset! This is most unethical. I announced my release date for Maidaan six months ago. At a time when we should all be coming together to save the movie industry, he (Rajamouli) has gone and done this."

As of now, Boney has no intentions of changing the release date and avoiding the clash.
