'RRR' Trailer: Unbeatable Jr NTR, inimitable Ram Charan surge forward

The trailer for 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' dropped at 11 am, many hours before the scheduled online release. A visual feat, it is nothing less than a marvel. SS Rajamouli, one must say, has maintained his form without sounding repetitive. The shots are so very unlike what we have seen before in his movies. The emotions hit home, the backdrop is spot-on and the overall flavour is irresistible.

An unbeatable Jr NTR is introduced as the protector of the Gond tribe. A girl from the tribal community has been taken over by a British Governor named Scott. In Adilabad, Komaram Bheem is raging to exact revenge.

In comes a cop, played by Ram Charan. He is fielded to tame the 'tiger' that is Bheem. Talking of tigers, we see a shot wherein a ferocious tiger comes face to face with the most fearless Bheem. The shot involving Tarak is tantalizing.

In the subsequent part of the riveting trailer, thousands of people dare to pound on a barricaded fort. The force with which they do it reminds one of an angry beast gathering strength before attacking its prey.

We see Ram Charan's character say that he is ready for a sacrifice. Samuthirakarni is seen as a constable, while Ajay Devgn is a local leader armed to protect his people from oppressors. The police torture of Bheem is teary.

It's not before 2 minutes and 15 seconds that we see the Mega Power Star in the Alluri Sitaramaraju look. Once the look is introduced, the trailer gathers even more steam.

Rajamouli has shown his prowess once again. His Baahubalian imagination is a never-seen-before genius. KK Senthil Kumar's cinematography is superlative, while MM Keeravani shows his imagination at every step. The heroes-centric trailer has shots of Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson as well.

K Vijayendra Prasad's story has friendship, betrayal, revenge and a whole lot of elements going for it. Sabu Cyril has done production design. V Srinivas Mohan has taken care of VFX supervision.

The film will hit the screens on 7 January 2022.
