Kollywood actor's wife commits suicide after tiff

Tamil actor Siddharth Gopinath's wife Smrija has committed suicide.  She and her husband had gone to a restaurant late Monday night and on the way back, they had a fierce argument.  After reaching home, Smrija, who was still angry, slept in the bedroom while Siddharth stayed in the hall.  

In the morning, Siddharth found their bedroom locked from the inside.  Much as he banged on the door, Smrija did not open even after several attempts at knocking and calling on the cell phone.  

A police complaint was given and the door was broken, only to find the body of Smrija hanging to the ceiling.  An RDO enquiry has been ordered since the couple have been married only for three years.
