'RX 100' will be remade in Kannada. DS Rao has acquired the remake rights of this entertainer. For the uninitiated, DS Rao has produced 'Drona' (with Nithin), 'Pilla Jamindaru' (with Nani), 'Kalavar King' (with Nikhil) and 'Mr. Nookayya' (with Manchu Manoj) in the past.

As per the makers, the remake rights were acquired at a "fancy price". A crazy young Sandalwood star will play the lead role in the remake. Further details about the project are awaited.

The rustic and raw drama is also being remade in Tamil with Aadhi Pinisetty as the hero. "I will be seen in a shocking avatar in the movie," the 'Rangasthalam' and 'Neevevaro' actor said recently.

The fact the movie is being remade in two languages simultaneously goes to show the strength of the film, directed by Ajay Bhupathi.
