S.Janakis health status after surgery

The Nightingale of South India, S. Janaki is much loved by fans of all languages she has sung in and she is also known for her fun-loving attitude and cheerful persona. A few days back Janaki had gone to Mysore to participate in a relative's marriage where she unfortunately slipped and fell inside the bathroom hurting her hip badly.

S.Janaki was immediately rushed to a hospital where she underwent surgery and was discharged on Saturday. The 81-year-old has stated that she is getting along fine now and that doctors have adviced her to walk with a stick and she has thanked the thousands of her fans who have prayed for her and sent her wishes.
