A bandh has been proposed in Karnataka to protest against the release of 'Baahubali 2' directed by S.S. Rajamouli. The reason that has been cited is a comment that Sathyaraj who is playing Kattappa in the film made over the Kaveri dispute.

S.S. Rajamouli in his video in clear Kannada has requested the people of the state to support his 'Baahubali 2' just like how they did the first part. He also insisted that Sathyaraj's comments came 9 years before and has nothing to do with the film's team and hence they should not make the other actors and the team to suffer for that. Hope the issue gets resolved for a smooth release of the film in Karnataka.
