The very name S.S. Rajamouli conjures up images of grandeur and emotional highs that have catapulted him to the number one position in Indian cinema. The celebrated filmmaker after his global recognition for the 'Baahubali' films and 'RRR' is scripting his mega project.
Meanwhile Rajamouli has turned actor in a commercial for a popular cellphone brand which has become the talk of the town. He appears in dual roles wearing designer pant and a tshirt complete with a white coat enjoying the flagship features of the phone. Now details of the remuneration he got has been reported and according to it he is said to have received rupees thirty crores for the ad. The same sources say that an undisclosed huge amount has been paid additionally to Rajamouli to stay as brand ambassador for one year and also direct the next commercial for the company.
Rajamouli's next film is said to be a multipart epic fantasy adventure based on Hanuman and is set to star Superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead with a pan Indian starcast. Filming will begin in a few months time.
