S.S. Rajamouli releases video of uplifting temples visit in Tamil Nadu

India's most wanted filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli was busy attending various film festivals and Awards ceremonies including the Oscars right from the start of this year. His previous film 'RRR' costarring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR turned out to be a global blockbuster much like his two 'Baahubali' films.

Rajamouli along with his wife Rama, daughter Mayookha and son Karthikeya and his spouse toured Tamil Nadu and the pics went viral. In his latest social media post the 49 year old story teller gushed about the trip "Wanted to do a road trip in central Tamilnadu for a long time. Thanks to my daughter who wanted to visit temples, we embarked upon it. Had been to Srirangam, Darasuram, Brihadeeswarar koil, Rameshwaram, Kanadukathan, Thoothukudi and Madurai in the last week of June . Could only touch the tip of the iceberg in the given few days. Exquisite architecture, amazing engineering and deep spiritual thought of pandyas, chozhas Nayakkars and many other rulers was truly mesmerizing."

Rajamouli had special words especially for the food "Whether the fine dining in Mantrakoodam, Kumbakonam or a kaka hotel murugan mess in rameshwaram the food has been marvelous everywhere… I must have put on 2-3 kilos in a week. After 3 months of foreign travel and food, this home land tour has been refreshing and uplifting."

Next in line for Rajamouli is the multipart mega project 'SSMB 29' starring Mahesh Babu in the lead role. His dad Vijayendra Prasad has also confirmed that 'RRR 2' is in the pipeline and will be made in Hollywood though it may not be directed by his son but under his supervision.
