'Saakshyam' opens decently but there is a 'But'

Saakshyam opens decently but there is a But

'Saakshyam' has collected a share of Rs. 8 CR (approx) worldwide as of the end of Sunday. It was released on Friday last. This is touted to be a decent run for a film starring a non-frontline actor like Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas.

In Nizam, the film made Rs. 2.25 CR, while another Rs. 1.40 CR came from Ceeded. Uttarandhra gave Rs. 1 CR. In the Telugu States, the film made Rs. 7.06 CR over the weekend. The Monday figures are yet to be made official from credible sources.

The collections are not big, considering that the film needs to clock as huge as Rs. 25 CR. But will it?

Directed by Sriwass, the mass actioner has Pooja Hegde as the heroine and Jagapathi Babu as the main villain.
