'Republic' is the title of Sai Dharam Tej's upcoming movie, which is helmed by Deva Katta. Starring Aishwarya Rajesh as the heroine, the film has finalized its release date.

The makers on Monday revealed that it will hit the screens on June 4. This is the first major film to lock its release date for June.

With Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna in key roles, the film's motion poster was unveiled recently. With music by Mani Sharma, the film's editing is by KL Praveen. Cinematography is by M Sukumar.

Produced by J Bhagavan and J Pullarao, 'Republic' is the 'Prasthanam' director's first full-on socio-political drama. The 'Baahubali' Sivagami plays a CM. Aishwarya Rajesh's role was supposed to be played by Nivetha Pethuraj.
