Sai Korrapati, the head of Varahi Chalana Chitram, has recently made a significant mark in South India's history. Known for producing the famous film "Eega" with director S.S. Rajamouli about a decade ago, he received the highest national award from then-President Pranab Mukherjee. Despite whispers that he had halted film production for the past two years, Sai Korrapati surprised the nation by creating a masterpiece in his hometown of Bellary, costing around twenty-five crore rupees.

A decade ago, Sai Korrapati acted as a special advisor to the famous Shaiva temple Srishaila Devasthanam, alongside his close friend Puranapanda Srinivas, a renowned writer dedicated to Bhagavatseva. It is said that Srinivas, despite lacking financial strength, played a crucial role in the creation of the Amriteshwara Temple, also known as Vajra Sadrisha Spatika Linga Prakash, built by Sai Korrapati with very rare black rocks.

Rajamouli and M.M. Keeravani, known for their directorial and financial prowess, have been close friends with Sai Korrapati. However, it was the extraordinary talent and association with Puranapanda Srinivas that led to the inception of the Amriteshwara Temple, witnessed by Basavanna. This temple, built with Krishna rock features, is set to be inaugurated on February 29th in grandeur, following the Parama Shaiva tradition.

The entire temple, built with black rock, features a central Nandi idol, with representations of Vinayaka, Annapurnamma, Sri Narasimha Swamy, and Kalabhairava surrounding the temple. Special features include the Varahi Mata Koluvu, Kalyanamantapam, and Annaprasada building. The temple also houses the Dwadasha Jyotirlingas, attracting devotees with its numerous Nandus and a large statue of Anjanayu.

Although not a Swayambhu Kshetra, the Amriteshwar Shiva Temple is expected to elevate Sai Korrapati's glory not only in Karnataka's cultural history but also in India's famous Shiva temples. A video invitation indicates that Sri Sri Sri Sachidananda Saraswati Maharaj will perform the Prana Pratishta to the Maha Linga on the 29th, with prominent figures like Rajamouli, Keeravani, KGF's Yash, and playback singer Mangli expected to attend the festival.
