Sai Kumar, who contested on a BJP ticket from Bagepally in the Karnataka Assembly Elections, has been defeated by his Congress rival. It's not just a defeat but a shocking defeat, early reports say.

Even CPI(M) candidate won far more seats than him. The JD(S) candidate is at No. 3. On the other hand, Sai Kumar is at No. 4, disappointing his party big-time. The saffron party fielded him there because of the number of Telugus in the constituency. We will have to wait and see if this defeat is because of the Special Category Status issue that the BJP has failed to honour.

As someone who is ideologically a pro-Sangh Parivar man, Sai Kumar must be very sad for himself while being happy for his party!
