Sai Pallavi's 'Karu' title changed & release date announced

Sai Pallavis Tamil movie undergoes name change & release date announced

Sai Pallavi who became famous after her Malayalam debut 'Premam' is also playing the lead heroine in a few Tamil films now.  Her debut Tamil film 'Karu' (also known as 'Lycavin Karu') directed by Vijay and produced by Lyca Productions has undergone a title change and is now named 'Diya'.  The film releases on April 27th.

'Diya' has Naga Shaurya and Sai Pallavi playing the lead while veterans Nizhalgal Ravi and Rekha play pivotal roles.  Music is by Sam CS, cinematography by NIrav Shah and editing by Antony.
