One of the most expected sporting events of the country, the Indian premier league cricket tournament was supposed to have been held this summer, but was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown.

Yesterday, it was announced that the Indian government has given its nod to IPL governing council to host IPL in the UAE, between September 13 and November 10. The match schedule is expected to be announced today.
