Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently took to Instagram, wherein he announced the action thriller "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan," to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Salman Khan expressed his high hopes for the upcoming film, which has the potential to surpass the success of other superhits like "Tiger" and "Sultan," in a post on Instagram.
Wishing the lead actors of the film, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, all the best, he added that it is going to be a blockbuster when released on Eid. He lauded the trailer and wished Zafar would supersede records made by "Tiger" and "Sultan."
Both Salman and Zafar are coming together for the third film, after the super success of "Sultan" (2016) and "Tiger Zinda Hai" (2017).
In the trailer for "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan," Pooja Entertainment casts Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff as two daredevil soldiers on a mission to capture a masked villain, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran, and retrieve a stolen weapon. The trailer also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Manushi Chhillar in key roles.
Going by the quotient of action seen in the trailer, Ali Abbas Zafar has set out to do justice to the adrenaline-pumping drama that the filmmaker himself has served audiences in his earlier action-packed offerings, "Sultan" and "Tiger Zinda Hai.
"Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" is a new adaptation of the 1998 David Dhawan film, which was a super hit and had Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda in it. It will be released on April 10.
Apart from this project, Salman Khan is in news to have signed a project with none other than Karan Johar for the film "The Bull" and another action film with Kabir Khan, "Babbar Sher." There have also been reports of a YRF spy thriller featuring Salman as Tiger and Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan.
