Salman Khan strikes musical chord with 'Jumme Ki Raat'

The wait is finally over for Salman Khan fans. The first song “Jumme Ki Raat” from Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut film ‘Kick’ is out and features the superstar and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Shot entirely in Mehboob Studios, the music has a raw and edgy feel to it and is sure to click with the audience. This peppy and playful song has been choreographed by Ahmed Khan and has Salman dancing in his trademark style. Sajid Nadiadwala who is happy with the way the song has turned out remarked, Jumme Ki Raat is a treat for all Salman Khan fans. It is shot in an underground style on a very large scale and we have tried to give it an edgy and grungy feel. The entire team of the song has done a fabulous job of putting this together with interesting visuals.

The song was launched in a grand event at a suburban multiplex, with throngs of female fans attending the event. At the trailer launch event, there was an overwhelming ratio of male audiences, which is why the makers decided to make this event exclusively for female fans as a special gesture. This is most apt since the song is a romantic number, and girls have already fallen in love with it.

There were deafening roars of “I love yous” and “You’re too cute” throughout the event as the 100+ girls couldn’t control their excitement on seeing their favourite star. The female fans were chosen through a contest on Twitter on the movie’s official handle, who announced this opportunity; there was an unprecedented response with #JummeKiRaatTomorrow – the hashtag for the contest – trending all day in India.

After the huge response to the ‘Kick’ trailer, the audience can’t get enough of the star. The trailer has already crossed seven million hits making it the most-viewed trailer in the recent times.

‘Kick’ marks the directorial debut of well-known producer Sajid Nadiadwala and also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
