Chennai’s rising star Sam Vishal, known for his breakthrough in the reality show Super Singer, is now hosting a popular YouTube program called Samodu Vilayadu on the Media Masons channel. In a recent interview, he shared insights about his path, life-changing moments, and dedication to his craft.

Sam’s entry into Super Singer was unexpected. “My friend Deepak submitted my audition without telling me,” he said. Although he lacked formal music training, his unique voice helped him become the runner-up on the show.

After the show, during the pandemic, Sam received an offer from a well-known producer to anchor a new digital series. Although nervous about speaking on camera, he learned quickly and soon became a confident host. Now in its fourth season, Samodu Vilayadu features fun segments with social media influencers, including games and interviews.

Fans have played a huge role in the show’s success. “Their comments and suggestions help us grow. Many early participants want to come back,” Sam said.

In addition to hosting, Sam remains active in music, regularly releasing independent tracks. His song Yengugiren was well received, and he’s also worked on projects with music legends like Yuvan Shankar Raja and Nimsh for both Tamil and Telugu songs.
