Here's the truth about Samantha Akkineni's upcoming web shows

Tamil superstar Samantha Akkineni made her digital debut through Raj and DK's web show 'The Family Man'. After the phenomenal success of the show and her character getting immense appreciation, there were rumors about Samantha starring in a few more web shows. However, all those reports turned out to be false. The actress only took up 'The Family Man' cause she wanted to play a villain and now she's jist focusing on her Tamil movies.

A source close to the actress saod, Right now she is off the media and just chilling at home with her husband Nag Chaitanya and his family. There are no plans of doing another web series anytime in the near future. Sam agreed to doing The Family Man because of co-directors Raj Nidimoru and DK’s persuasive powers and because she had wanted to play the bad girl for the longest.”

Future projects of Samantha include 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal' alongside Vijay Sethupathi and mythological flick 'Shaakuntalam'.
