Actress Samantha who took a break from the films for almost two months post her split with ex-husband Naga Chaitanya was on a signing spree for a few weeks now and finally has returned to work after calming her mind and soul.
When everyone thought that Samantha's career has come to an end post-split, the 'Theri' actress signed back to Bilingual films with leading production houses and amazed her fans. She was recently cast to play a Bisexual detective in an International film directed by Philip John.
She also waved the green flag to do her first item number in Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The rise. The team welcomed her on board with a sweet note along with a poster. Reports state that Samantha charged a whooping 1.5 core to shake a leg with Allu Arjun in this song.
Now the latest update about this film is that the actress has started shooting for her first-ever item song. The commercial entertainer, directed by Sukumar, is based on the lives of red sandalwood smugglers in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. The film will also release in multiple languages on December 17
