Samantha Akkineni has signed a Telugu-Tamil bi-lingual. This time, it's a mystery thriller, something she is doing for the first time, although 'Raju Gari Gadhi-2' had shades of the genre.

The film will be a remake of the Sandalwood blockbuster 'U-Turn' and it will be shot from January next year. Pawan Kumar, who wielded the megaphone for the original version, is on board.

With this, Samantha will have a range of releases in 2018. 'Abhimanyudu' with Vishal ('Irumbu Thirai' in Tamil), 'Mahanati' in Telugu (and Tamil), 'Rangasthalam' in Telugu and Sivakarthikeyan's 'Super Deluxe' in Tamil are the ones as of now.
