Samantha signs Shankar-Vikram's film

Samantha has always believed that she must be lucky to be bagging one big film after another. She is one rare actress who has been lucky to be part of a Mani Ratnam film. Even before the release of this film, and another tri-lingual directed by Gautham Menon, the radiant and dazzling beauty has signed another big film.
This time the director is someone greater (for any commercial actor) than all of them - Shankar. It is known that the maker of Robot has been planning a film with Vikram. Now that the story discussions are over and a bound script is ready, the makers have revealed the name of the heroine who is to act opposite the 'Chiyan.'
It goes without saying that Samantha has just signed the most precious film of her career. If in Mani's film, she is going to look aesthetic like never before, in Shankar's she is going to surprise as she has never done in the past.
