Samantha Akkineni who is married to Tollywood star Naga Chaitanya Akkineni may have settled in Hyderabad but a part of her heart always remains in Pallavaram in Chennai where she was born and brought up.

Sam's latest video is of the Pallavaram hills and she has written "This 'hill' ️... was the view from my terrace growing up .. my favourite spot.. probably knows more about me than any human does. All the anxious early mornings on exam days?? .. all the promises I made to all the gods that I would eventually never keep .. the first love.. the heartbreak.. the death of a friend .. the tears and the goodbyes .. which is why 'My hill’ deserves its own post".

Samantha has just completed eleven years as one of the leading heroines in South Indian cinema and is still one of the most sought after. She is currently shooting for 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' directed by Vignesh Shivan and costarring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. She is also starting work on the pan Indian historical 'Shakunthalam' directed by Gunasekhar and a bilingual thriller directed by Ashwin Saravanan of 'Game Over' fame.
