Samrat is a womanizer, says wife

Character artist Samrat was on Tuesday morning taken into custody by the Madhapur police on a complaint filed against him by his wife, Harshitha Reddy. Since then, contradictory versions have been heard from the actor's mother (Jaya Reddy) and the wife.

Harshitha has alleged that her husband has been harassing her mentally and even physically right from the beginning. They have been married for two years now. "He would always demand my maternal property. His mother would demand jewelry from my parents' side. Samrat is a womanizer and is addicted to hookah. He would take me to places to which I didn't like going. Marriage is a toy game for him. Whenever I questioned him, he would threaten to abandon me. I waited and waited for him to reform. He used to physically assault me by beating me with whatever he could. Once, he tried to smother me," said the wife.

However, Samrat's mother has said that it's Harshitha who has always mentally harassed her son. "She doesn't like my son to continue acting. How can he be expected to give up his passion? Because of her behaviour, my son even lost interest in films. Whenever a fan came up to my son and clicked a selfie with him, Harshitha wouldn't talk for 10 days. Shouldn't a wife be proud of her hubby's popularity? When my son complimented an actress that she is hot, Harshitha picked up a quarrel with him," the actor's mother told a TV channel.

Song Review: Na Cell Phone ('Inttelligent')

The biggest contribution of this song is that the word 'Banisa' and all those social media tools are mentioned almost in an unintended social critique.  It feels surreal.  Lyricist Varikuppala Yadagiri mentions the ubiquitous romantic tools that we use (Viber, We Chat, Twitter, WhatsApp, etc) in a creative way.  'Thalukula belukula feeling, chooputho pattukonaa' takes the cake.
