Director and actor Samuthirakani had last acted in lead role in Kolanji directed by Dhanaram Saravanan and was seen recently on screen in a supporting role in the Suriya starrer Kaappaan directed by KV Anand. Now the actor is geting ready for his next release Adutha Saattai.

Adutha Saattai is the sequel to the 2012 hit Saattai which will also star actors Thambi Ramaiah, Athulya Ravi, Yuvan and Rajshri Ponnappa. The movie has music scored by Justin Prabhakaran and is directed by M Anbazhagan who also directed Saattai.

Adutha Saattai had recently been in trouble after conflicts with Libra Productions which got the TN rights, and now it has been revealed that the TN release rights of the movie have been bagged by Sri Vaari films Ranaganathan, who had recently produced Yogi Babu starrer Dharmaprabhu. Adutha Saattai will release in October.
