Samuthirakani to focus on Sandalwood

Samuthirakani has proved himself in all South Indian languages. While he is known as actor-filmmaker in Kollywood, he is known as an actor in Mollywood and director in Tollywood and Sandalwood.
The 'Naadodigal' maker, who is currently busy making 'Nimirndhu Nil' with 'Jayam' Ravi and also its Telugu version 'Jandapai Kapiraju', is getting ready for his second Kannada film.
While his first Sandalwood movie 'Yaare Koogadali', which has Puneeth Rajkumar in the lead, is yet to hit the screens, Samuthirakani's second movie will also be with the same actor.
Shooting for the film will start once I complete Nimirndhu Nil. It will be an emotional movie. I would also like to clarify that it is not a remake of any of my movies, Samuthirakani says.
