Director and actor Samuthirakani had made an appearance in movies like Peranbu, Pettikadai this year, and his next directorial venture Nadodigal 2 is all set to be released soon, and recently the trailer of the movie starring Sasikumar, Anjali and Athulya Ravi was launched.

Samuthirakani has played lead roles in several movies, and one of his movies had been completed and was awaiting release for long time. The movie, Kolanji is produced by Moodar Koodam director Naveen and directed by his associate Dhanaram Saravanan.

Recently the team of Kolanji had announced that the film will be released on July 19, but now the latest update is that the release of the movie has been postponed by a week, and Kolanji will now release on July 26. Kolanji also stars Sangavi, Rajaji and has music by Natarajan Sankaran.
