Santhanam's surprise role in next movie!

Actor Santhanam had turned a hero from the movie Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham and has been sticking to playing the hero since then. Till Dhillukku Dhuddu 2 and A1, the actor has been playing comedy based hero roles and he has not played a serious lead role so far.
However Santhanam is set to change track, as he will be seen in an action packed role in his next. Directed by Johnson K who had directed A1 with Santhanam last year, this yet to be titled movie will have Santhanam playing a North Madras gangster and the actor will have many action scenes.
This movie produced by Lark Studios was launched on Santhanam's birthday and will have music by Santhosh Narayanan. While all top heroes of Tamil cinema have played gangsters already, it has to be seen how convincingly Santhanam plays a gangster in this new movie.
