Actor Santhanam had scored two hits this year, namely the second part of horror comedy series Dhillukku Dhuddu, Dhillukku Dhuddu 2 directed by Lollu Sabha Rambhala and another comedy flick A1 - Accused No 1 directed by debutant Johnson.

Now the actor is getting ready for his next release of the year. Santhanam had been working on the movie Dagaalty, directed by debutant Vijay Anand, who had previously assisted director Shankar in several movies, and this movie was being shot in Mumbai.

It has been made official that Dagaalty has completed shoot. and will be announcing a release date sooner. Dagaalty also has comedian Yogi Babu and marks the Tamil debut of Bengali actress Rittika sen who plays Santhanam's pair in the movie. Dagaalty has music by Vijay Narain.
