Santhanam to turn director

There is a secret wish in Santhanam - that to direct a film. The top comedian of Tamil cinema is even ready with a story and is waiting to make it as a film after completing his acting commitments.
The hero of my maiden directorial venture will be the one who likes my script and who gives his call-sheet to me. It will be a comedy-sentiment story with a nice message at the end, Santhanam says.
Giving more details, he adds: India is the land of spirituality and science. There are many untouched subjects and untold stories here. My movie will throw light on these things.
The career graph of Santhanam is on a never before high after the success of 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi'. The actor is now an inevitable part of almost all films and is sharing the screen space with some of the top heroes of Tamil cinema.
