The success of 'Dhillukku Dhuddu' last year, established Santhanam as a commercial hero and the actor got committed into various projects as the male lead including Selvaraghavan's 'Mannavan Vandhanadi'. 'Dhillukku Dhuddu' released in July last year and it has been almost an year since we saw Santhanam in silver screen.

'Server Sundaram' directed by Anand Balji in which Santhanam plays the lead role of a Chef went on floors early 2016. The film is finally getting ready for release and that will be Santhanam's first release of the year.

It has been confirmed that the film's music album composed by top music director Santhosh Narayanan will be released on May 10, 2017 and the film's theatrical release is expected to happen within this summer.

'Server Sundaram' stars Santhanam and debutant Vaibhavi Shandilya in lead roles. Veteran actor Nagesh's grandson Bijesh is making his acting debut in this film while Radharavi is playing an important supporting role. The shooting of the film has been completed and the team is busy with the post-production work.
