Sarath goes to Bollywood

Even as his forthcoming Tamil film ÂVidiyal hit the floors today, Sarath Kumar has made an announcement that he would act in a Hindi film by the end of July this year.
ÂAll that I can say now is IÂll be doing a Bollywood film by July end. I will be working with two of the most respected filmmakers from the south, says the president of the South Indian Film Artistes Association.
On ÂVidiyalÂ, he says, Âthe film is jointly produced by Giriguja Films International Pvt Ltd and RRR Movies, my own production company which has just been launched. Directed by K R Selvaraj, the story travels between 1946, 1976 and 2010.Â
Thanking Malayalam director Hariharan and scriptwriter M T Vasudevan Nair for taking him to Kerala audience with ÂPazhassi RajaÂ, Sarath says, ÂThey have opened new doors for me. I am now acting in two more films in Mollywood.Â
Interestingly, the actor will also be doing a Kannada film titled ÂSarathiÂ. ÂThough I am acting in Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada films, my area of focus will always be Tamil. I have many plans for Kollywood which you will come to know one by one.Â
