Sarath kumar's Russian connection

Sarath Kumar will be seen next on the silver screen in the film '1977' which has been directed by Dinesh. Interestingly Sarath Kumar has sung a song for the film and that too in Russian. It is not clear as to why a Russian song features in a Tamil film. Moreover one has to wonder why a regular singer was not roped in to sing the song. Watching the film will probably give the answers.
The music album release of the film happened recently and Sarath Kumar was seen singing the Russian song for all those present.
Well, Tamil Cinema sure is opening up to global connections which is quite healthy.
