Veteran actor Sarath Kumar, is making his foray into the digital stage with the new web series titled 'Irai'. He has bulked up his physique to nail the stunning character in the film and will be sporting long hair and beard as well.
The filming of 'Irai' began on Monday with safety and hygiene standards recommended by the government. It is directed by Rajesh M Selva, who previously directed Kamal Haasan's 'Thoonga Vanam' and Vikram's 'Kadaram Kondan'. The show will be produced by Raadhika Sarathkumar by Radaan Mediaworks and billed as a crime thriller.
Details of the rest of the cast and crew of 'Irai' are awaited. Producer Radhika in her statement has revealed "."Despite crime thriller being its core genre, the show will encapsulate the essence of family, sentiments, and relationships. I am extremely happy that Shri Sarath Kumar is venturing into the world of OTT through our production house,"
