Up until recently big brands all over the world paid a ransom to get stars and superstars from sports and entertainment to endorse their brands.  However the personality who is the subject of our Troll Tuesday is the owner of India's largest supermarket store chain (in one city) and he chose to be his own brand ambassador - probably the first in India  to do so.  The name of this popular figure is the same as the landmark business he runs.

Have you guessed who that is? If we say Hansika, Tamannaah does that ring a bell? Are you transported into a hue of color with the dashing male model dressed in stunning clothes flanked by the two lovely ladies in a cat walk.?    Better still do you recall seeing a stylish gentleman seated with no less than the Superstar and Ulaganayagan on each side most recently?

It has long been rumored that the tycoon who modelled for himself is interested to shake a leg or throw punches on celluloid.  During the Actor's Union event that he sponsored the man himself has said on record that when the right script comes by he would definitely don the greasepaint.

We are sure many aspiring directors would be right now making a beeline to T-Nagar or Purasaiwakkam or whichever branch the gentleman happens to be at a given time.  Short film schooled filmmakers would try to lure him with a new age script, while others would pitch him a horror comedy and the semi retired veterans could even make a masala mass film with punch dialogues "Yenakku Aadi Thallupadi kodukavum theriyum aadi aadi vikkavaum theriyum thevai pattaa unna body aakavum mudiyum" .  Anways the hero himself being a proven marketing brain, there would be no dearth of promotions for the film and he would be all over your social media, billboards, carry bags - pretty much everywhere you turn.

As a consumer  its a win win as you could get massive discounts on ticket prices, buy one get one free offers and you may even get to shop as you watch the movie.  Fasten your seatbelts Kollywood the "Super Market Star" is on his way.
