'Sarkar' beats 'Theri' lifetime collections in four days

Sarkar beats Theri lifetime collections in four days

Thalapathy Vijay's 'Sarkar' in spite of mixed reviews and fierce opposition from the ruling ADMK government has still managed to collect a staggering rupee 150 Crores worldwide in just four days. The political thriller has surpassed the lifetime gross of Vijay's own 2016 super hit 'Theri' and is the third 150 plus film for the mass hero after last year's 'Mersal'.

'Sarkar' directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures has music score by Isaipuyal A.R. Rahman. Vijay and Keerthy Suresh are the lead pair while Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu and Radha Ravi play other important roles. The coming weekend good see the film go nearer to the magical 200 Crore mark.
