Thalapathy Vijay's next movie 'Sarkar' directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures is one of the most awaited this year. The single 'Simtaangaran' tuned by A.R. Rahman and penned by Vivek that released on Monday has garnered more than 8 million views on YouTube. The audio launch scheduled on October 2nd was initially planned to be held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium and permission was sought from the government.

The latest news is that since the permission is not forthcoming from the goverment side the 'Sarkar' team has decided to shift the venue. Sources suggest that the new venue is the Sri Sairam Engineering College campus at Tamabaram, Chennai. Superstar Rajinikanth is expected to be the chief guest while Thalapthy Vijay, Keerthy Suresh, A.R. Rahman, A.R. Murugadoss, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and a host of other stars are expected to participate.
