Sarkar is 8th such Box-Office great

'Sarkar' has reportedly become the 8th Rs. 200 Cr grosser in the history of South film industries.

The two 'Baahubali' movies, starring Prabhas, come first. Rajinikanth's 'Enthiran' and 'Kabali' are also included in the list. Vijay's own 'Mersal', released last year, was a blockbuster and is in the list. Vikram's 'I', too, is a part of the list. 'Rangasthalam', starring Ram Charan, is the other one.

In Telugu, 'Sarkar' has grossed Rs. 15 Cr, starting to earn profits. This is the biggest hit in Vijay's career in the Telugu States.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, the political drama has become a much bigger hit than was expected.
