Varalakshmi Sarathkumar slams TN government in Sarkar issue

Varalakshmi Sarathkumar has slammed the TN government regarding the recent 'Sarkar' controversy. She has stated "Is the government honestly that weak that you are threatened by a movie..?! You’re jus making it worse for yourselves n doing exactly what u r not supposed to do vadalising please refrain from such stupidity.. it’s freedom of creativity.".

Varu has played the powerful role of the chief antagonist in 'Sarkar' name Komalavalli which has also come under the scanner and during the recensoring the name has been muted removing Komala and now its only Valli.
