'Sarkar' final worldwide screen count is humongous

In less than a day's time, Thalapathy Vijay's most awaited film 'Sarkar' will open and fans around the globe are waiting anxiously to witness his inimitable style and swag in the political thriller. The final count before release is a humongous 3400 screens and the demand for the first-day shows is the highest ever in Tamil cinema according to trade pundits.
Sun Pictures is targetting a rupees 50 Crore opening day collection with half of that coming from Tamil Nadu. In Chennai city alone the collections would be in rupees 2 Crore region. The biggie directed by A.R. Murugadoss with A.R. Rahman scoring the music has Vijay and Keerthy Suresh playing the lead pair while Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Yogi Babu are the other major stars.
