Director and actor Sasikumar was last seen in the Karthik Subbaraj directorial Petta, as Superstar Rajnikanth's friend, and has completed few movies like Kombu Vatcha Singamda, Kennedy Club and Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta which will be released soon one after the other.

On the other hand, the actor had recently started shooting for his next movie which is produced by Kalpataru pictures and directed by NV Nirmal Kumar, who had debuted with Vijay Antony starrer Salim and had also directed the yet to be released Arvind Swami,Trisha starrer Sathuranga Vettai 2.

This movie is being shot in Mumbai and also has senior actor Sarathkumar as a part of the cast. As per reports the team is planning to name the movie as Nana. An official announcement on the title is expected soon. Reportedly Sasikumar plays a police officer in the movie.
