3 cops suspended for threatening remarks after Sathankulam deaths!

The sensational news that has shocked the entire nation even amidst the Coronavirus pandemic is the brutal attacks on two innocents Jayaraj and Fennix in Sathankulam, Thoothukudi by the cops, which lead to their deaths.

Jayaraj and Fennix were arrested for keeping their shop open beyond stipulated timings in lockdown and were brutally assaulted by police, which affected their health, ultimately resulting in their deaths. This case has now been transferred to the CBI after suspending sub inspectors Raguganesh and Balakrishnan and inspector Sridhar.

After this incident, several police officers had posted comments on social media threatening public, warning that if people oppose cops they'll meet the same end as Jayaraj and Fennix, and these threatening comments have lead to the suspension of three police officers namely - Satish Muthu from Greater Chennai corporation armed police force, Nagapattinam DSP office driver Ramanan, besides officer Maharajan for threatening the magistrate in Sathankulam.
