Director Vasanth, who has rendered hits like Keladi Kanmani, Nerukku Ner, Asai, Nee Padhi Naan Padhi and Poovellam Kettu Paar, is ready and raring to go with Sathumpodaathay.

Starring Prithviraj and Padmapriya in lead roles, the movie will hit the screens on 14 September.

Nithin Satya is the debutant in the venture produced by Shankar - Senthil Kumar for Kayalvizhi Entertainment Production House.

“I personally feel that the movie should do a lot good to Prithviraj's talent in Tamil. He is such a natural actor in the lines of Mammootty and Jayaram”.

Yuvan Shankar has composed the music.

The other important names in the movie are Satish Kuroseva (editing), Dinesh Kumar (cinematography), Na Muthukumar & Thamarai (lyrics).
